Sponsor a Doctor

No parent should ever have to watch their child die because they cannot afford to save their life—or because there are no qualified doctors to help them. In a country where 1 out of 19 children die in the rural areas, Lao Friends Hospital for Children offers free pediatric medical care.

But, we need your help to hire enough quality doctors to treat all the children who come to us. Today, we are asking you to pay for one year of a doctor's salary—$10,000.

A doctor's salary at LFHC is just $10,000 per annum. For that amount, they don’t just treat over 1000 children. They also teach other healthcare professionals in Laos to improve the quality of care provided across the entire country.

What your donation will get you:

  • You will receive regular reports from the doctor you sponsor regarding their patients and education.

Share the cost with family, friends, or another donor

You may also share the cost of sponsoring a doctor with family, friends or we can match you with other donors. In this case we ask for a minimum contribution of $2500 each if you want to receive reports. We can match you with any contribution but will not be able to send direct reports.
