In Remembrance

Mr. James Strachan Richardson, a husband, father, grandfather and an active supporter of AHC for over a decade, sadly passed away on November 14, 2007. After retirement Jim moved to Siem Reap and volunteered with the Capacity Building and Health Education Program team. His work and dedication to this organization will never be forgotten. Jim documented his experiences in a blog and we pass it along in hopes that it will do what he always wanted it to do, provide inspiration.

Mr. Gunther Hausen, a husband, father, grandfather and a major supporter of AHC through his work with Middletown Rotary Club, sadly passed away on November 25, 2007. Gunther helped organize The Pure Water and Literacy Program, sponsored by various Rotary Clubs worldwide, to bring pure water to Cambodian people through the manufacture and installation of biosand water filters. He believed strongly that all people had the right to a healthy life and his work certainly reflected that. He is missed and will always be remembered with great respect.

Dikhayuko Sen, a great Cambodian patriot and a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 77. A former Cambodian diplomat, Mr. Sen dedicated his life to serving his country both while he held the post and after, and was a very active member of the Cambodian community here in the States. He, his wife and his daughters would be honored if any donations made for him were directed to Friends Without A Border, a cause he cared very deeply for.
