To Supporters of The Angkor Hospital For Children in Siem Reap

Dear Supporters:

The Cambodian Network Council (CNC) which represents Cambodian organizations throughout the United States, and the entire Cambodian communities are very happy and honored to support the Angkor Hospital For Children project of Friends Without A Border. On behalf of the board members of CNC, we thank all the donors and especially Mr. Kenro Izu, whose uncommonly passionate and dedicated efforts will allow the unfortunate children of Cambodia, who have suffered so much, the medical care they need and thus have a fighting chance.

In Cambodia, children and the destitutes are ignored and can not turn to the government for help. They are on their own. This hospital project with its high standards for facilities, equipment and staffing is a blessing. Not only it is very needed, but it is also located where it can be most effective which is in a province. For Cambodian living in the provinces, only very few can afford to travel to the capital where medical care is available. The trip by boat, bus or hired motorcycle can be long and treacherous. This private children's hospital is the first one in Cambodia to be located outside the capital. We hope that it is not the last one and that many other organizations will follow the example.

Every Cambodian we spoked to about this project is extremely happy and supportive. Every day we become more organized at spreading the word to help raise additional funds.

To all the supporters of this great project we thank you for your generous contributions.
