Volunteer

Angkor Hospital for Children relies on a steady stream of volunteer health care experts to constantly improve the skill of its own staff and train health professionals from throughout Cambodia.

Volunteers representing more than five continents and 20 countries have spent time at AHC working directly with patients and providing advanced training.

Many of our volunteers come through international volunteer organizations such as Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO), United Nations Volunteers (UNV/UNDP) and Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO). Other volunteers make arrangements directly with AHC. Although highly-skilled health experts with substantial teaching experience are most needed, occasional non-medical volunteers make lasting contributions to AHC and its programs.
