Wondering what to do with that old cell phone?

Use it to Support AHC!

You can help raise money for Friends Without A Border/Angkor Hospital for Children through the donation of used cell phones. We have partnered with a non-profit organization, CollectiveGood. They refurbish used cell phones and sell them at a very low price in the developing world, giving many people the first phone they have ever had. Phones that cannot be refurbished are recycled for parts and then disposed of properly and safely. We receive a commission from CollectiveGood, often $5-10 or more, for phones that are sent to them in our name and can be refurbsihed.

You can donate a used cell phone by going directly to our donation page on the CollectiveGood website: <http://www.collectivegood.com/donate2.asp?cHid=531>

You can also help by beginning a "Used Cell Phone Collection" project at work, school, at a cell phone store, at the pagoda or church, or by asking your friends to give you the old phones they have lying around the house. Just email us at fwab@fwab.org and we will mail you all the information you need to get started, including instructions and explanations about the program, sample emails and posters you can use at work, and a postage free mailing label to use on the box you mail to CollectiveGood. You will be helping people properly dispose of their used cell phones, while making a charitable donation at the same time.
